We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Regional Travel Nurse to join our team at New Season Treatment Centers. As a Regional Travel Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with opioid addiction.
Job Summary:Under the direction of the Medical Director or Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for administering medication, conducting patient assessments, and providing education and support to patients and their families. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with healthcare teams, and adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medication to patients in accordance with physician orders and medical protocols.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and medication management.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on medication management, addiction treatment, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including medication administration records and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Current nursing licensure within the state of employment.
- Minimum of 1 year of direct patient contact experience.
- Experience in clinical environment, preferably in addiction treatment or medication management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
This position requires frequent travel to multiple treatment centers, with occasional overnight stays. You must be able to operate in an open work area with moderate everyday noise and be able to travel up to 75% with limited notice.
