What You'll Do
The Event Rental Specialist will oversee all sales processes from initiation to completion.

This role involves managing a high volume of inquiries, nurturing professional relationships with clients, processing orders in our system, addressing inventory inquiries, and conducting client meetings.

Collaboration with fellow sales consultants and various departments is essential to enhance customer satisfaction, strengthen relationships, generate revenue, and achieve long-term account management objectives aligned with our company values.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Handle a significant volume of phone calls to assist in creating customer orders.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients regarding event order design, modifications, and product inquiries.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and manage heavy call volumes.
  • Responsible for generating approximately $1-$1.5 million in annual revenue.
  • Proactively maintain and expand strategic accounts.
  • Consult with clients to ascertain event specifics and rental requirements.
  • Identify and manage potential client prospects.
  • Prepare customer quotes and ensure follow-up within 48 hours.
  • Accurately enter customer orders and production schedules, verifying all details.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings to share insights and experiences.
  • Conduct showroom appointments and assist visitors.
  • Master our order entry software, including delivery, return, labor pricing, and billing.
  • Resolve and troubleshoot rental inventory challenges.
  • Educate clients about available rental items, promoting all company products.
  • Send product samples to clients as requested.
  • Assist with weekend office and installation schedules as necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding client and company information.
  • Establish yourself as a reliable member of the sales team.
  • Attend industry networking events to build future business relationships.
What We're Looking For
  • 1-3 years of experience in hospitality with an event rental company, catering service, event planning, or similar.
  • Sales experience and a hospitality degree are advantageous.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends as needed.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • A positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • A desire to support teammates and provide excellent service to clients.

This position reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager. Effective communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a willingness to assist others are essential for success in this role.

Our management approach emphasizes teamwork in problem-solving. Building trust within the Sales and Operations Departments is crucial.

Compensation and Benefits

$22.00-$25.00+ per hour, based on experience, along with a detailed incentive plan.
