Ultrasound Technologist- Intermediate Job Description

Job Summary:

Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist- Intermediate to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, utilizing sterile techniques, and assisting physicians as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform invasive and non-invasive ultrasound procedures on a variety of patients
  • Utilize sterile techniques and assist physicians as necessary
  • Produce superior quality imaging studies
  • Work independently to meet the specific needs of the departments

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related profession
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire
  • Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI required upon hire
  • High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN
  • Preferred experience: 12 months previous experience in ultrasound

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High Risk OB Technologist: 3 years in ultrasound routinely performing OB/GYN exams with experience in high-risk cases
