Responsibilities- Ensure the timely and accurate entry of medical data into our computer system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records documents for each facility.
- Research and resolve issues related to illegible or unfamiliar terminology on handwritten sheets.
- Verify and clarify problems or inquiries with facility documentation requests.
- Communicate with facilities nursing staff, Director of Nursing, and Administrator on a regular basis.
- Utilize reference materials to improve skills and maintain confidentiality of employee and patient information.
- Run medical records forms and reports containing facility, patient, and pharmaceutical information.
- Assist consultant pharmacists with facility data and inform them of department procedures.
- Promote customer goodwill and enhance corporate image.
- Conduct audits with facilities using computerized data.
