As an Environmental Planner 1, you'll play a critical role in helping us answer that question. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and managing project-related data for environmental science and planning-related studies
  • Reviewing mapping, studies, and regulations, and assisting in preparing environmental compliance documents
  • Assisting in preparation and participation of public/client meetings
  • Preparing, planning, and analyzing/reviewing technical studies, permit applications, NEPA documents, and similar reports/documents
  • Assisting senior staff in environmental task assignments
  • Performing other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Resources, or Planning
  • Previous environmental planning experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Resources, or Planning
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving, and research abilities
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
