Position Overview:
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Space-based systems collection and management, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Intelligence Community (IC) clientele.
Your extensive background in Space-based systems will be vital in navigating the intricate policies and processes that govern this field.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough reviews of documentation related to policy, budget, acquisition, and operations for Space-based systems collection, providing insightful assessments on their implications for collection efforts.
2. Develop, edit, and contribute to high-level products regarding Space-based systems collection for senior policy makers, including reports, presentations, and strategic studies.
3. Offer expert guidance to senior leaders within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) on matters concerning Space-based systems collection, supported by comprehensive analyses of relevant situations and potential responses.
4. Assist decision-makers and special projects in managing Space-based systems collection issues, which includes preparing and coordinating written materials and briefings for senior IC officials, military leaders, and legislative members.
5. Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with peers across the Intelligence Community.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Extensive experience in Space-based systems collection and support, with a deep understanding of associated policies and processes.
- Background in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) or Geospatial Intelligence collection.
- Familiarity with the Intelligence Community, its components, missions, and capabilities.
- Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with senior leaders both within and outside the government.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree with 10-13 years of experience, or advanced degrees in a related field.
