Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal departments and customers to foster strong relationships and drive business growth.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to execute project requirements and goals, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement validation strategies for new products, transfers, and process improvements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support product Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and assembly products, working with material/supplier sourcing, manufacturing engineering, quality, and other Subject Matter Experts (SME).
  • Provide project team support for mold, fixturing, work cell layout, and automation design, ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
  • Act in accordance with ISO and other regulatory requirements, and company procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Support the initiation, author, and approval of validation protocols and completion reports, as well as work instructions and other manufacturing process documentation.
  • Participate in the management of line and equipment validation and qualification activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate existing product flow, investigate and identify new technology developments, and other technical improvements to drive process improvements and enhance quality, safety, customer satisfaction, production standards, and cost efficiencies.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles for new product launches, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Participate in the development, installation, calibration, operation, maintenance, and repair of new, modified, and/or existing equipment and fixtures.
  • Create and control project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project gantt charts, action plans, status updates, and budget tracking controls.
  • Generate, review, and approve ECO's, CAR's, MRB's, complaints, and other manufacturing-related documents.
  • Communicate specifications for BOM creation and provide information for BOM updates.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support for both NPD and Production, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Participate in the Release to Manufacturing process for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with functional groups to ensure all necessary documents are in place for project execution.
  • Work with the Materials department to source new materials and equipment as needed, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Obtain supplier quotes and complete requisitions for purchasing, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
