About the Role

The Inpatient EEG Coordinator is a critical member of our Clinical Neurophysiology Services team, responsible for overseeing the daily 24-hour inpatient EEG operations for both Adult and Pediatric Services. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to supervise EEG Technical staff and Clinical Unit Leaders, maintain policies and procedures, and develop and implement QA programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day CNPS clinical services and a team of direct reports
  • Assist manager with just culture analysis, team engagement, and discipline of staff
  • Perform and/or demonstrate proficiency in Routine EEG, ICU monitoring, Epilepsy monitoring, Cortical mapping, and neuroanatomy
  • Support epilepsy surgery cases, including programming EEGs for recording of intracranial electrodes and providing intraoperative EEG monitoring
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities to improve patient care and organizational processes
Requirements
  • Associate degree or graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic program or equivalent
  • Registered as an EEG Technician by ABRET and maintained
  • Minimum of five years Neurodiagnostic work experience, with at least three years EEG Technologist experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
