We are seeking a highly skilled Service and Spare Parts Manager to join our team at American Honda Motor. As a key member of our Product Support team, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring our Service and Spare Parts programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and meet customer and dealer requirements.
- Design and implement pricing strategies and procedures to ensure alignment with company plans and goals.
- Develop and maintain a routable inventory program to support customer requirements, including defining required parts, quantities, pricing, and locations.
- Establish and maintain warehousing locations and requirements for all aftermarket stocks.
- Coordinate logistics requirements and ensure efficient movement of parts, including establishing an efficient order entry and fill process.
- Communicate effectively with dealers and customers to ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field of study.
- Background in spares providing analysis, routable exchange/repair programs, spares part pricing, and logistics.
- Prior experience in a start-up company environment is preferred.
- Extensive P&L experience in business/commercial aviation aftermarket services.
- Knowledge of aviation-related export/import regulatory requirements.
- Thorough familiarity with transport category aircraft materials support, including best practices in material management, warehousing, logistics, and aftermarket customer service.
- Basic understanding of flight operations under FAR Parts 91, 121, or 135.
- Experience working in SAP ERP environment.
- Experience with Quantum Component Control software is highly desired.
- Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise, heat, cold, dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
- Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions.
- Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions.
- Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
- Effectively communicate in Business English language.
- Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance.
- Pull, push, carry, lift, or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift with the use of Company provided 'reach assistance technology' or 'movement assist technology'.
