Speech Therapist PRN Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in the Fort Worth area. As a PRN Speech Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients and families, providing high-quality care and support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, with experience working with patients with various conditions. You will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education and training to patients and families.

Responsibilities

The Speech Therapist will be responsible for:
  • Providing speech therapy services to patients in their homes, with a focus on improving communication and swallowing skills.
  • Assessing and evaluating patient care needs, and developing and implementing treatment plans to meet those needs.
  • Providing education and training to patients and families on speech therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A current license to practice speech therapy in the state of Texas.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
