Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will leverage your engineering expertise to drive product development for both new and customized products. A solid mechanical aptitude is essential. Your responsibilities will encompass specific business cases and new product requests to facilitate product development.

To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1-3 years of relevant design engineering experience.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of fundamental machining principles.
  • Proficiency in solid modeling CAD and the ability to adapt products from standard designs.
  • Expertise in designing and developing new products from detailed design to prototyping, testing, and production support.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative spirit and a desire to contribute positively to team efforts.
Your Role Will Include:
  • Developing new products from concept through to production, including layout, prototyping, testing, and documentation.
  • Conducting research, design, and calculations for FEA, DOE, and FMEA related to specialty connector components or assemblies.
  • Creating and maintaining solid models, managing the CAD environment, and executing standard tests for reliability engineering.
  • Coordinating procurement, manufacturing, and testing for custom applications and product enhancements.
  • Conducting design reviews, ensuring BOM accuracy, and adhering to schedules for product commercialization.
  • Providing training and support to manufacturing teams, communicating design status, and leading cross-functional teams for product improvement.
  • Continuously seeking process improvements, evaluating product issues for corrective action, and independently managing projects to completion.
