Job Summary

This position serves as a vital part of the nursing team in MedSurg 1 at MUSC, where we provide exceptional care to our patients. As an RN Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit and ensuring that all patient needs are met efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of registered nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to achieve desired outcomes
  • Developing and implementing plans to improve patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes

We offer a competitive salary range of $$87,500-$102,000 per year, depending on experience, which is higher than average for similar positions in the United States. In addition to the base salary, new hires can also receive a one-time $30,000 sign-on bonus.

Required qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • At least one year of work experience as a registered nurse in a medical-surgical setting
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
