About the Role

HQ Aero Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Structures Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the company's aircraft in a safe and airworthy condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform work on aircraft and components as outlined on corresponding work forms, and in accordance with the manufacturer's Maintenance Manual and the customers' approved maintenance program.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition; complete all records and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Aircraft Safety: Maintain the company's aircraft in a safe and airworthy condition according to the company maintenance manual and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Professional Conduct: Serve as a role model for ethical behavior, maintain a professional and dignified work environment, and promote and support the mission of the customer.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum two years of Sheetmetal experience required.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Minimum two years of experience on ATR 42's and ATR 72's, preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Education: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Tool Kit: Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
  • Certifications: Criminal Background checks & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
Work Environment
  • Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing, and/or climbing.
  • Work Environment: FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
