Job Title: A&P Sr Avionics Tech

Global Crossing Airlines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced A&P Sr Avionics Tech to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance tasks in compliance with Company Manuals and Federal Regulations.
  • Complete required training and maintain training currency as defined in Company Manuals.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of maintenance methods.
  • Maintain Line Maintenance related tooling, stands, and ground equipment.
  • Perform all aspects of Line Maintenance, including troubleshooting and engine runs.
  • Communicate with Maintenance Control as defined in the GMM.
  • Ensure all work tasks are performed with a high level of quality and safety.
  • Complete and handle paperwork and records as outlined in Company Manuals and Federal Regulations.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned, including reviewing and submitting daily workload paperwork to MCC.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current Airframe and Powerplant Certification.
  • Valid US Passport and US Citizenship (preferred).
  • Meet recent experience requirements in accordance with 14 CR 65.83.
  • Ability to work any shift and travel to remote locations and countries.
  • Read, speak, and write English fluently.
  • Ability to read wire diagrams and disseminate work instructions related to Line Maintenance and Aircraft Modification.
  • Qualify for airport security badge and customs seal.
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Travel:

This position requires up to 20 percent travel, including weekends and holidays, overnight travel is expected. Responsible for AOG events and approvals in the United States. Must have a clean driving record.
