Role Summary

As the Banquet Operations Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the efforts of banquet personnel before, during, and after events to guarantee timely food service and seamless function execution, ensuring our banquet guests enjoy an impeccable experience. This role requires you to exemplify outstanding guest service and guide our banquet team towards excellence. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, encompassing a mix of days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support, mentorship, and coaching to banquet team members on the floor.
  • Conduct interviews, manage hiring, onboarding, and termination processes.
  • Consistently deliver professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all functions are set up appropriately and timely, adhering to food, beverage, and meeting specifications.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels, room/station assignments, buffet decor, and enhancements related to banquet and meeting room arrangements.
  • Manage inventory of banquet supplies, including linens, liquor, silverware, and china.
  • Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of all function spaces, public areas, and service zones on banquet levels.
  • Communicate and collaborate with various departments to ensure the highest level of service delivery, including housekeeping, catering, and culinary teams.
  • Uphold a high standard of service by continuously training and coaching all direct reports and associates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test, background check, and reference checks. The Concourse Hotel maintains a drug-free workplace.
