About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Relations Director to join our team at Merrill Gardens at Auburn. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and maintain a high occupancy percentage by effectively managing the sales process, from prospecting to move-in.
  • Develop and implement community outreach plans to build relationships with professional referral sources and generate viable leads.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to provide feedback on media advertising, community sponsorships, and other marketing opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Activities Director and Executive Chef to plan special events that benefit existing residents and attract potential residents.
  • Conduct regular competitive shops to stay informed about direct competitors and their offerings.
  • Make promotional recommendations for the community based on competitive shops.
  • Position Merrill Gardens in accordance with corporate vision and mission.
  • Track and maintain marketing budget for community-responsible line items.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications preferred.
  • Three-plus years sales and marketing experience, preferably in a related field.
