Key Responsibilities- Support the Lead and Supervisor of Packaging in packaging dried cannabis products, meeting daily and weekly objectives.
- Operate equipment and machinery to package dried cannabis products, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Execute objectives to achieve desired quality and consistency in packaging.
- Organize and report data entries to spreadsheets and logs, ensuring accuracy and legibility.
- Meet daily quotas and maintain productivity levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting other departments with tasks such as post-harvest and production.
- Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge in packaging and production.
- Understand and comply with state and federal regulations regarding cannabis production.
- Work in a fast-paced production environment, adhering to GMP model certification standards.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during scheduled shifts.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of work experience in a related industry or work environment preferred.
- Commercial cannabis and/or packaging experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Proactive, dedicated, and results-driven skills.
- Respectful and effective communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
