Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Security Software Engineer to join the Addison Group team, focusing on providing top-tier enterprise security software solutions for clients across various sectors. The successful candidate will have a robust technical foundation, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a strong dedication to client satisfaction. This position requires close collaboration with clients to implement, configure, and support innovative security solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Serve as the main technical liaison for clients, fostering and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders across diverse sectors.
- Solution Implementation: Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise security software solutions customized to meet client needs.
- Requirements Gathering: Collect and document comprehensive client requirements, ensuring that solutions align with their unique demands.
- Technical Knowledge: Cultivate an in-depth understanding of the security software offerings, providing expert advice and assistance to clients.
- Project Coordination: Work alongside project managers to guarantee successful project execution, adhering to established timelines and budgetary limits.
- Training and Assistance: Deliver training sessions to clients on the utilization of security software solutions and provide ongoing technical support as necessary.
- Documentation: Develop thorough documentation for deployed solutions, including configuration specifics, user manuals, and support resources.
- Continuous Learning: Remain informed about the latest trends and advancements in enterprise security, consistently enhancing technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are advantageous.
- Experience: At least 5 years of practical experience in deploying and supporting enterprise security solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge in identity and access management, multi-factor authentication, PKI, smart cards, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Analytical Skills: Proven capability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges associated with enterprise security software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Client Orientation: Demonstrated ability to surpass client expectations and establish enduring relationships.
- Project Management Skills: Experience in a project-oriented environment, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Security Clearance: Eligibility to obtain security clearances when necessary, particularly for engagements with public sector clients.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with PIV or CAC card programs.
- Understanding of card management systems (CMS) or identity management systems (IDMS).
- Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, domain controllers, Active Directory, SQL Server, and SQL language.
- Strong analytical and business acumen, with the ability to effectively communicate technical requirements.
- Self-motivated individual with high energy, focus, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Capacity to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
