About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans, to assist physicians in diagnosing patient conditions.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Schedule and plan imaging procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing wait times.
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a comfortable and compassionate experience for all patients.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current certification in radiologic technology (CRT) or registered technologist (RT) designation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate imaging equipment, with minimal physical strain.
