Job Description:

TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Traveling Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team for a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Conduct imaging procedures, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Review and analyze imaging results, identifying any abnormalities or areas of concern
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a travel or contract setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and technologies, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
