Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Greet guests, build rapport, and ensure an enjoyable, quality dining experience.
  • Order Taking: Promptly and accurately take food and beverage requests from guests.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Ensure expedient service of food and beverages to the guest, checking frequently to ensure everything is to the guest's specifications.
  • Menu Knowledge: Learn our menu and beverages, expertly recommend, and upsell on items.
  • Accountability: Identify all guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger.
  • Brand Standards: Follow all relevant brand standards for service.
  • Point of Sale (POS) System: Accurately ring all orders into the POS system.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to deliver plates and food and clear tables, which may require lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to hear well amongst loud background noise.
  • Appearance: Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company-approved uniform at all times.
  • Technical Skills: Must be able to operate the P.O.S. system, make change correctly, and make credit card transactions accurately.
  • Conflict Resolution: Must be able to calmly respond to angry guests and notify a manager.
  • Accessibility: Must be able to read and write notes to hearing-impaired guests and read menus to sight-impaired guests.
  • Verbal Communication: Must be able to verbalize menu items clearly to guests while taking their orders or responding to their requests.
