Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients, architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality projects within the electrical discipline.
  • Produce coordinated detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, site observation reports, schedules, and other deliverables.
  • Organize technical and financial proposals for new work and manage the workload of project discipline engineers and technicians.
  • Take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design and prepare technical specifications.
  • Monitor financial performance of jobs and keep senior staff informed of important and relevant service/design decisions.
  • Mentor junior electrical engineers and ensure that practices, policies, strategy, and services represent the client's best interests.
  • Plan, organize, and manage personal workload to meet deadlines in line with client commitments.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience of electrical engineering design in the building services and construction industry.
  • Experience working on projects in sectors such as Higher Education, Museums, Commercial, Transportation Hubs, and/or Stadiums.
  • Relevant bachelor or master's degree and Professional Engineer (P.E.) desirable.
  • LEED AP accredited preferred and experience using Revit and computational analysis tools.
  • Ability to accept a high degree of responsibility in a team-based organization and excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with experience presenting solutions directly to stakeholders.
