Role Responsibilities
You will join a dedicated team focused on advancing the boundaries of computer vision and machine learning technologies to provide exceptional experiences for our users.

Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Engaging in the design, development, evaluation, deployment, and maintenance of data-driven models for computer vision applications.
2. Researching and implementing cutting-edge algorithms in computer vision and Vision Language models.
3. Collaborating with product managers and engineering teams to create and integrate computer vision and machine learning features for Ring devices.
4. Influencing system architecture and product strategy by making informed choices regarding technology, data sources, algorithms, and sensors.
Basic Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in deep learning, computer vision, human-robot interaction, and algorithm implementation.
- 1+ years of experience in building models for business applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience in developing and implementing deep learning algorithms, particularly in the realm of computer vision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated history of innovation in creating novel algorithms and enhancing state-of-the-art technologies.
- Skilled in prototyping, designing, implementing, and deploying computer vision applications and tools.
- Familiarity with Vision Language Models and LLMs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent business judgment, effectively balancing business, product, and technology considerations.

Compensation Information
Our compensation reflects the labor market across various US geographic regions. The base salary for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $222,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is influenced by factors such as market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We offer a comprehensive compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
