Key Responsibilities:
As a Banking Services Associate, you will:

  • Respond to inquiries from new and existing members, facilitating account openings and recommending relevant credit union products and services.
  • Manage a designated member portfolio and proactively identify additional financial needs through referrals and outreach.
  • Engage in outbound calling and service initiatives to drive membership growth and enhance member relationships.
  • Process consumer loan applications and adhere to lending policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate member profiles and conduct financial needs assessments to ensure future requirements are met.
  • Implement and monitor product campaigns within the branch to achieve performance goals.
  • Collaborate with investment, insurance, and mortgage partners to maximize referral opportunities.
  • Conduct transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist members with complex inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Balance cash drawers and complete daily work in accordance with credit union standards.
  • Participate in branch operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on digital banking options available to members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of six months of customer service or sales experience, preferably in a financial setting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, sales acumen, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.
Willingness to obtain lending certification within three months of hire is necessary.
