Understanding Air Curtains: An air curtain is a device that generates a controlled airflow across an entrance, forming an environmental barrier or air door. This technology not only conserves energy but also enhances comfort by preventing the intrusion of insects, dust, fumes, and extreme temperatures.

Key Responsibilities: As an Inside Sales Associate, you will thrive in a vibrant, fast-paced setting where your strong communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail will be invaluable. Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Berner products to effectively meet customer requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of export regulations and identify any constraints impacting sales.
  • Assist in preparing customer quotations under the supervision of sales management.
  • Ensure incoming purchase orders are accurate and complete.
  • Input customer purchase orders into CRM and ERP systems with precision.
  • Calculate commissions for sales representatives and provide training on pricing strategies.
  • Follow up with clients on quotations to facilitate prompt responses and order fulfillment.
  • Organize and prepare documentation such as submittals, wiring diagrams, and data sheets from various sources.
  • Maintain a digital filing system for easy access to documents and correspondence.
  • Engage in daily communication with clients and sales teams, ideally in both English and Spanish.
  • Collaborate positively with sales managers, inside sales colleagues, and other departments including engineering, finance, production, order entry, and shipping.
  • Support a designated territory sales manager while assisting other sales managers as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to bolster the sales team and contribute to overall success.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in customer service, sales, or marketing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with export duties and documentation related to international customers is essential.
  • Experience in HVAC or electrical equipment is advantageous but not required.
  • Proficiency with CRM or ERP systems is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) are required.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, with potential for increased travel in the future.
  • Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish, is preferred but not essential.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
