Position Available: We are seeking full-time Registered Nurses to join our team.
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage ranging from $40 to $47.
Role Summary: As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional nursing care tailored to the unique needs of each client. Your responsibilities will include adhering to established nursing practices and policies while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. This role reports directly to the Director of Nursing.
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the recovery process related to physical health.
- Understanding of addiction challenges and familiarity with the 12-Step Recovery Program.
- Knowledge of the effects of alcohol and addictive substances on individuals and their families.
- Proficiency in emergency response procedures for substance-related crises, including First Aid and CPR.
- Awareness of legal regulations governing addiction treatment, including confidentiality and patient rights.
- Strong communication, observational, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor and assess the physical and emotional well-being of clients, intervening as necessary.
- Administer and track medications and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation in our EMR system.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols in all job functions.
- Provide medical support to clients in our outpatient treatment programs.
- Evaluate client medical concerns and respond appropriately.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling as required.
- Document client progress through summaries and nursing notes in the EMR.
- Develop and conduct training sessions for mandated educational programs.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate comprehensive care.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in treating Substance Use patients.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a staff nurse.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Current RN Licensure.
- CPR Certification.
Educational Background:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Physical Demands: The role may require lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and involves physical activity throughout the shift.
