Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LPN to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including private homes and community-based facilities.

Job Summary:

The Private Duty Nurse LPN will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Assess patient needs and develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
  • Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop care plans.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
Work Environment:
  • Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments, which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
  • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
