Key Responsibilities

Summary: You will be responsible for the safe, timely, and precise transport of patients, medical equipment, and related items.

Essential Duties:
  • Oversee the daily activities of fellow transporters and address performance issues with management.
  • Provide training for new and existing staff, maintaining updated personnel records.
  • Assess workload and ensure efficient task distribution among team members.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in transporting patients across various age groups.
  • Ensure safe and timely transport of patients, bringing necessary equipment as requested.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Attend to patient comfort by offering assistance and maintaining appropriate interactions.
  • Promptly notify nursing staff of any patient distress or equipment issues.
  • Maintain transport equipment and report any required repairs.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards and facility policies regarding patient confidentiality.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
