Key ResponsibilitiesSummary: You will be responsible for the safe, timely, and precise transport of patients, medical equipment, and related items.
Essential Duties:- Oversee the daily activities of fellow transporters and address performance issues with management.
- Provide training for new and existing staff, maintaining updated personnel records.
- Assess workload and ensure efficient task distribution among team members.
- Demonstrate proficiency in transporting patients across various age groups.
- Ensure safe and timely transport of patients, bringing necessary equipment as requested.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Attend to patient comfort by offering assistance and maintaining appropriate interactions.
- Promptly notify nursing staff of any patient distress or equipment issues.
- Maintain transport equipment and report any required repairs.
- Adhere to regulatory standards and facility policies regarding patient confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as required.
