About the Role

The Mail Operations Supervisor will oversee and direct the mail operations personnel, ensuring adequate staffing, effective time management, and adherence to key performance metrics, safety protocols, and quality assurance. This role is pivotal in implementing process enhancements and best practices across the organization. The Supervisor will coordinate with the team to fulfill customer requirements promptly and manage daily operations to optimize efficiency while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Oversee workforce management and anticipate labor requirements.
  • Direct all operations, including administrative staff, in the absence of senior management.
  • Ensure operations are executed in a cost-effective manner.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and engage in discussions to foster associate development.
  • Facilitate learning and development opportunities, including corrective actions and coaching.
  • Implement quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
  • Communicate assertively with supervisors and team leaders.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for improvement within the production area.
  • Collaborate with management and safety personnel to enhance performance and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation regarding staff attendance and coaching sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
