The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of Synectics to patients, providing exceptional care and service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
- Interact with patients, creating a positive and trusting atmosphere while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens with skill and accuracy.
- Work under the direction of the area supervisor, performing daily tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment, adhering to organizational commitment and promoting a positive image to patients, clients, and employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and adult specimen collection.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum of 6 months experience; one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience required.
