Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Powder River Industries, LLC. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with expertise in network design, implementation, and maintenance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, configuring, and managing complex network infrastructure, including LAN and WAN networks. They will work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain network architecture to support business growth and ensure high network availability.
  • Network Management: Monitor and manage network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network resources to meet business requirements.
  • Security: Ensure robust security measures are in place to protect our network and data from potential threats.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance and support for network-related projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure engineering, with a focus on LAN and WAN networks.
  • Proficiency in Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, F5, Ansible, and other industry-standard technologies.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, topology, and architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mastery of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with network management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization.
  • Certifications in network administration and engineering.
