Weston & Sampson is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead the site civil and land development aspects of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience in civil engineering and design, with a strong background in renewable energy development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site civil and land development projects, including design, permitting, and construction phases.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications, representing municipal and private clients.
  • Conduct presentations at public hearings to support permit applications.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team, managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating with multiple staff members.
  • Manage project financial performance and prepare proposals for new projects.

Requirements:

  • BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent) is required; MS is preferred.
  • PE certification is preferred.
  • 8-15 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and design.
  • Experience with Hydro CAD and other stormwater modeling software.
  • Strong skill set in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational/time management skills are required.
  • Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites.
  • Experience on renewable energy projects is a plus.
