Job Title: High School Teacher

Odle Management, a subsidiary of Eckerd Connects, is seeking a qualified High School Teacher to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator to teach in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring, and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Teach in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject areas.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring, and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards.
  • Assist with obtaining teaching certification.
  • Participate in staff training sessions and adhere to all aspects of Eckerd Connects' Quality Assurance Plan.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Certified to teach in the state where the center is located.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Knowledge of the required subject area.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students and effectively relate to the trainee population.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
