About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at EMCOR Group. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of mechanical and plumbing systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform load studies and envelope/operational analysis to ensure efficient system design.
  • Conduct field investigations to gather data for system design and layout.
  • Size equipment using selection software and coordinate with vendors.
  • Generate HVAC and plumbing plans and perform drafting using AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate design with other disciplines, including architectural, civil, structural, and fire protection.
  • Develop and generate details and schedules.
  • Review submittals and perform on-site installation inspections.
  • Assist with building audits and analysis of existing systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with codes and standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in the HVACR industry with a Mechanical/HVAC Engineering background.
  • Proficient use of AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and Trace 700.
  • Experience with other system design software and Adobe Pro, Bluebeam, or similar programs.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, competent, responsible, proficient, and organized individual with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar accredited Engineering Technology program.
  • Professional Licensing or Certifications strongly encouraged, but not required.
  • Intrastate travel required, with an active driver's license status.
