Job Title: Postdoctoral Fellow

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at the Cleveland Clinic Health System. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative research environment, contributing to cutting-edge projects in immunology, oncology, and microbiome research.

Job Summary:

This training position, under the direct supervision of a Cleveland Clinic Principal Investigator, will provide practical training and experience in a research setting. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to research, a collaborative work ethic, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. This program is expected to be completed within 5 years.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with external partners and institutions to translate findings from murine models and advanced analytic techniques to human clinical trials, ensuring regulatory compliance and ethical standards.
  • Design and conduct independent research projects, with the goal of data generation, analysis, interpretation, and manuscript preparation.
  • Perform collaborative translational projects, particularly those involving FMT/UMT.
  • Integrate multi-omics approaches, flow cytometry data, and histological findings.
Requirements:
  • PhD or MD/PhD required.
  • MD with relevant laboratory experience may substitute for PhD.
  • Previous experience in a research or academic setting, including graduate student experience.
  • Scientific writing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • English Proficiency proof required for candidates arriving on J-1, J-2, or F1 + OPT visa status.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a laboratory setting, with potential exposure to hazardous chemicals, bio-hazards, and radioactive materials. The ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods, operate a computer, and communicate effectively are essential.
