Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team at Colorado Surgical Arts. As a key member of our oral surgery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist oral surgeons with precision during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to strict protocols.
  • Document patient care meticulously, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Perform preoperative tasks, including preparing patients for surgery and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
  • Engage in strategic discussions with oral surgeons, monitoring patient status and handling advanced equipment with finesse.
  • Obtain vital radiographs and craft detailed patient narratives, showcasing your exceptional communication skills.
Work Environment

Our office operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a member of our team, you can expect a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification (or completed within one month of hire).
  • Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, demonstrating good judgment and critical thinking.
  • Passion for ensuring safety and exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergency scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous oral surgery experience is beneficial.
  • DAANCE certification is desirable.
  • Licensed dental assistant status is preferred.
  • Radiology certification is a plus.
