Oral Surgery Assistant Job Description

Join our team at Paradigm Oral Surgery as an Oral Surgery Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting our oral surgeons during procedures. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations, and your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining a sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist oral surgeons during procedures, providing precision and care to patients.
  • Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Document patient care meticulously, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Engage in strategic discussions with surgeons, monitoring patient status and handling advanced equipment with finesse.
  • Obtain vital radiographs and craft detailed patient narratives.
Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation:

$25.00/hr, with increases based on years of experience.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification (or completed within 1 month of hire).
  • Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, with good judgment and critical thinking.
  • Passion for ensuring safety and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency and excellent manual dexterity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous oral surgery experience.
  • DAANCE certification.
  • Licensed dental assistant status.
  • Radiology certification.
