About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist III to join our team at Dallas Regional Medical Center. As a member of our clinical laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our blood specimen collection process.

Responsibilities
  • Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages using skin puncture or venipuncture techniques.
  • Perform computer data entry, filing, and telephone communication duties.
  • Process microbiology, immunology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and blood bank specimens.
  • Stock and order routine supplies, maintain storage areas, and ensure the cleanliness of equipment and workspaces.
  • May assist with point-of-care testing, sample collection, and other laboratory tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current and valid state certification as a CPT required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory experience required.
