Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Montevista Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Lawton, OK. Responsibilities
  • Maintain nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Evaluate staffing patterns to meet the needs of residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
  • Administer medication/treatments as prescribed.
  • Receive, transcribe, and implement physician's orders.
  • Implement and evaluate care plans.
  • Identify/secures equipment supplies.
  • Direct/oversee subordinates.
  • Participate in duty assignments.
  • Organize/coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
  • Oversee/monitor function and activities of subordinate staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate action discipline/training.
  • Monitor infection control compliance.
  • Investigate/documents accidents/incidents.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Previous skilled nursing experience.
  • Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
