Montevista Rehabilitation and Skilled Care is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Lawton, OK. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our facility's mission to provide exceptional clinical care and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Evaluating staffing patterns to meet the needs of residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
  • Administering medication/treatments as prescribed.
  • Receiving, transcribing, and implementing physician's orders.
  • Implementing and evaluating care plans.
  • Identifying/securing equipment supplies and directing/overseeing in-duty assignments.
  • Organizing/coordination of subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
  • Overseeing/monitoring function and activities of subordinate staff.
  • Evaluating staff performance and instituting appropriate action, discipline, or training.
  • Monitoring infection control compliance.
  • Investigating/documents accidents/incidents.

Requirements include:

  • Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Previous skilled nursing experience.
  • Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
