Contingent Vaccine LPN/LPN Position

This is a full-time LPN/LVN position working in an urgent care setting. The ideal candidate will have a full, active, and unrestricted license, BLS certification, and a high school diploma or GED. Prior urgent care experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide holistic evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services, administer immunizations and injections, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
Assess patients during intake, take vital signs, perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening, and perform Point of care testing including COVID testing.
Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
Help meet the mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities.
Requirements:
LPN/LVN with a full, active, and unrestricted license.
BLS Certification.
High School Diploma or GED.
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior urgent care experience is a plus, but not required.
This is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs. The required availability for this position is starting at 30 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours and may require floating to other nearby locations and working alternating weekends.
