Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Personalis. As a key member of our diagnostic business, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, ensuring seamless order intake, and addressing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound and outbound communication with physicians and clients using Salesforce/Service Cloud and other software platforms.
  • Coordinate with physicians' offices to gather missing test requisition form information and secure sample procurement.
  • Provide support to patients by addressing their questions and concerns and directing phone calls to appropriate team members related to testing.
  • Facilitate patient mobile phlebotomy requests and manage logistics surrounding sample collection kits and incoming samples/blocks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to tackle complex issues and ensure effective problem resolution.
  • Liaise with Sales and Medical Affairs teams to ensure ordering physicians and coordinators have necessary access and support.
  • Conduct follow-up on test requisition forms and ensure accurate data entry in LIMS.
  • Support patient billing operations by collaborating with the billing team.
  • Work closely with biospecimen management and lab operations to monitor sample receipt and progress.
  • Partner with genetic counselors to rectify discrepant information on pathology reports, obtain clinical notes as needed, and track report progress for turnaround time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or related degree with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a physician/patient-facing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of information.
  • Knowledge of laboratory or clinical diagnostics industry operations.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce/Service Cloud, LIMS, and G Suite preferred.
