This role is a key part of our team, responsible for handling back office preparation for patient care and ensuring that all practice policies and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs selected patient care duties, including collection and management of patient clinical information.
- Rooms patients after paperwork is complete and documents chief complaint in patient's chart.
- Prepares exam rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Orders and maintains clinical and office supplies as required.
- Advise patients of test results and processes labs that have been collected in office.
- Give injections as ordered by physicians.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Training in an accredited program for medical assisting required, certification preferred.
- BLS/CPR certified.
