About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our nursing team at E.A. Hawse Healthcare Center. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Personalized Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting their dignity and independence.
  • Conduct Resident Reports: Participate in and receive resident reports at the start and end of each shift to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Facilitate Activities: Engage residents in various activities, such as exercise programs, games, and social events, to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor Resident Needs: Respond promptly to resident requests and needs, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Maintain a Clean Environment: Ensure the resident areas are clean, comfortable, and safe, adhering to infection control standards.
  • Document Resident Care: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including activities of daily living and restorative programs.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certification: Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
