About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Manager to lead our Cardiology Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing activities, workflow, and nursing resources within the department.

Job Summary

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have 3 years of experience in nursing leadership and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Manage activities, workflow, and nursing resources of assigned nursing units.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.
  • Staff Management: Conduct hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff.
  • Patient Care: Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s). Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
