Job Description:

The Clark Associates Companies is seeking an experienced Operations Professional to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail branch locations.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage inventory, process shipments, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and stock merchandise onto the sales floor
  • Down-stock reserve merchandise to selling areas
  • Organize merchandise to provide a visually appealing appearance
  • Follow and execute the priority list and perform related tasks as directed by management
  • Provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers with locating items
  • Refer customers to Sales team members as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and sales floor
  • Operate a forklift as needed

Requirements:

  • 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of business models and a strong work ethic
  • Basic customer service skills and ability to function well with coworkers
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to think critically
  • Able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Salary:$45,000 - $55,000 per annum

Work Environment:

This role requires the ability to stand and walk for up to 9 hours per day. The employee must be able to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of medium weights (up to 50lbs) is also required.
