Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Agent to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Resolve guest challenges and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Promote hotel services and amenities to guests, upselling products as needed.
  • Assist guests with check-out payments or charges, accepting and recording various forms of payment.
  • Balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications.
  • Provide guests with information about the facility, services, and amenities.
  • Receive and respond to special requests from guests, escalating issues to the appropriate team members as needed.
  • Promptly answer telephone and email inquiries, retrieving and forwarding messages to/from guests as required.
  • Field and resolve guest complaints or escalate for resolution to the appropriate department.
  • Assist guests in emergency situations.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and functional equipment at the Front Desk.
  • Perform any special assignments deemed by the GM, Guest Services manager, or Manager on Duty.
Requirements:
  • Previous hospitality and catering experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
