Overview:

The Culinary Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our clients. This position requires a strong background in food service preparation and management, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooking food according to the operational menu plan, ensuring recipes are adapted to meet the facility's population requirements">
  • Directing the work of detainee food service staff, providing training and conducting inspections to maintain high standards">
  • Scheduling and quality assurance of all foods and supplies, including ordering and inventory management">
  • Ensuring the sanitation and safety program is actively practiced in all areas of the department">
  • Maintaining a high level of good client relations by providing exceptional customer service">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required; college credits or relevant technical training courses in food service preparation and cooking preferred">
  • Minimum two (2) years prior experience in successfully managing and/or quantity food production in commercial, military, or institutional settings, or an equivalent combination of work experience and training">
  • Valid, active driver's license required">
  • Ability to communicate effectively with personnel on minimum production/service requirements">
