Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and welfare of employees and customers
- Create an excellent customer shopping experience
- Maintain and reinforce current service level standards
- Provide service training and leadership to staff members
- Manage customer issues with a sense of urgency and satisfaction
- Process POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure
- Manage sales, discounts, and refunds
- Oversee loyalty programs
- Conduct opening and closing procedures
- Manage inventory control, including shipping and receiving, price management, singles, damaged merchandise, and physical inventory
- Ensure sales floor merchandising and visual presentation meet company standards
- Manage payroll control, including scheduling, payroll budget compliance, and time and attendance
- Develop and train direct reports, utilizing available training tools and reinforcing customer service standards
- Contribute to loss prevention efforts, protecting and controlling company assets
