Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse RN - Bone Marrow Transplant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN to join our Bone Marrow Transplant team at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse RN - Bone Marrow Transplant will be responsible for the care of blood and marrow transplant patients, patients with hematologic/oncologic disorders, patients with multisystem organ failure, and other patients meeting BMT admissions criteria. You will serve as the primary nurse, leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. You will also oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Supervise and direct the care of assistive personnel, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • One year of experience in acute care, preferably in a bone marrow transplant or oncology setting.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of Colorado.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
